Dear EEBA Community Members,

Due to the continued impacts of the coronavirus, the decision has been made to move the EEBA Summit to a virtual format for 2020.

The entire 2020 Virtual Summit will take place online through the Whova app and Zoom during the 9 working days between September 29th and October 9th. All sessions will be recorded and will be available for attendees of the conference on the EEBA Learning Center. We will also be integrating an online virtual trade show for our sponsors into the Summit.

The introduction of virtual is also allowing us to widen our scholarship attendees as part of our EEBA NextGen Student Scholarship initiative with all Solar Decathlon winners now being able to attend.

Final selections for speaking slots are being made now by our Technical Committee and the submissions look incredible. While we always wish we could get together, I think the Virtual High Performance Home Summit is shaping up to be a really incredible and far-reaching event!

EEBA is proud to announce a partnership with Pro Builder and Thrive Home Builders to bring The Ultimate Z.E.N. (Zero Energy Now) Home to this year’s High Performance Home Summit. The 2400-2600 sq ft “eco-luxury” model will be built on a 53’x80’ lot and will aim for LEED Gold certification, EPA ENERGY STAR and Indoor airPLUS and healthy home standards. The project will be completely electrified and decarbonized. This model will be used for an additional 33 homes in the development.
